letter of appreciation

haha. look at the formal title. you would think i was writing a letter to the president. dear mr president, i turned 16 yesterday, and i want to thank m stellar friends for making it so damn memorable for me :)

this is my extremly looong sweet 16 bday story >>>

went to school in the morning, my whole family seemed to have forgotten my b'day. bummer. anyway, i walked into class, and written on the whiteboard was, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUEIMIN =) (thank you van ) and yuhui was the first one who wished me happy birthday. she was poised on the edge of the teacher's table when i came in, greeting me with, happy birthday. thanks yh!

we had free period all the way till recess, all the teachers were absent. recess was as per normal then math, boring.

during class bonding l8r, yichan, ade, liying, yenchu, ziyun, xiaozhen, yuhui & germaine surprised me with a cake and card!! really touched by them. thankyou :D you guys rock

went for tuition aft school- i was quite annoyed, who goes for tuition on their birthday! :@ - and at the end of the session, my tutor gave me this king size cadbury chocolate bar. it was really sweet of her.

when i got home, my family still behaved like it was any other day. it was when i was in my room, reading through the birthday cards i received, that my mom called me. bought me this ice cream cake from swensens !! and clothes from Fox. love you all soo much, you'll always be the bst to thanks for the cake and presents, :D

it was around 10pm, i was still feeling ecstatic from the gifts and all. i was texting with szy, then i realised that my best friends didn't really celebrate my bday for me. szy told me that they were planning something from their blog and msn pm, but i replied her ' its already 10pm, i doubt they'll pop by my house now to wish me happy birthday'.

at 10.52 there were these bursting sounds coming from downstairs. and joshua called me to go down. i went to meet him by the playground, thinking he was alone, that was when candies,mel,dione and mandy came out singing happy birthday to me, while holding this chocolate cake. they made my day. and too think i actually thought they had forgotten my bday. hahaha. you guys mean the world to me. love you guys soo much. btw, the chocolate cake was heavenly. loved every bit of it! and the annoying smiley balloons. love them too. haha
